On our way back from Rome to Ischia, we stopped in Castel Gandolfo — and what a gem. 💙 Lake Albano, a volcanic crater lake, is absolutely stunning… and the town even has the oldest post box in the world, still sitting proudly on the wall!
I loved the tiled QR codes around town, each one sharing a little piece of local art and history.
And the sweetest touch? A café that gives dogs homemade biscuits while you enjoy your coffee. It’s always the small details that make places unforgettable.

Hope isn’t something we find out there — it’s something we uncover within ourselves.
Even in the deepest dark, there’s a quiet light that never really fades.
It lives in our courage, in the way we keep moving, even when we can’t see what’s ahead.
The world above can forget how to listen, how to slow down, how to believe — but down here, in the stillness, I remember.
Hope is found within. And when we choose to let it shine, it becomes the light that guides us all.

La speranza non è qualcosa che troviamo fuori,
ma qualcosa che scopriamo dentro di noi.
Anche nelle profondità più buie, c’è una luce silenziosa che non si spegne mai.
Vive nel coraggio, in quel passo avanti che facciamo anche quando non vediamo la strada.
Il mondo sopra dimentica come ascoltare, come rallentare, come credere —
ma qui, nella quiete del mare, io ricordo.
La speranza è dentro di noi.
E quando scegliamo di farla brillare, diventa la luce che ci guida tutti.
