🧠 Advancing MRI with Deep Learning: Faster Brain Imaging on a 0.5T Open-Sky System
📢 We're excited to share that our latest research on AI-based MRI reconstruction will be presented by Simona Schiavi at the AIRMM Annual Meeting on March 19th.
🔬 The study — conducted by Alessia Pellegri in collaboration with NYU and the MIDAgroup at the University of Genova — demonstrates how deep learning reconstruction (variational network architectures) can significantly reduce scan times on the ASG Superconductors 0.5T MROPEN EVO, an open-sky, fully upright system built for patient comfort and true positional imaging, without compromising image quality.
This work is a proud example of Italian research excellence meeting international collaboration — and a reflection of ASG's ongoing commitment to AI-driven innovation across clinical MRI applications. The study and its results are currently part of ongoing research and are not yet commercially available.
🔭 Beyond this study, ASG continues to lead in the development and construction of ultra-high-field MRI magnets and MROpenEVO systems. We look forward to engaging with the AIRMM scientific community to explore emerging needs and future directions.
📅 See you on March 19th!
