🟢In 2026, ELBA celebrates 70 years of industrial history.

Seventy years defined by vision, entrepreneurship, and the ability to evolve alongside the industry.

It all began in 1956, when the Luoni brothers founded ELBA – Elettromeccanica Luoni Busto Arsizio, a company specialized in the production of electrical equipment. A strong technical foundation that soon became the backbone of future innovation.

In the 1960s, the packaging industry entered a period of profound transformation. Thermoplastic materials were emerging as a new standard, while industrial production increasingly demanded sealing solutions that combined efficiency, reliability, and consistent performance.

Within this changing landscape, ELBA made a decisive strategic move: the establishment of a mechanical department dedicated to designing and producing high-speed sealing machines for thermoplastic materials.

From the first mechanical solutions developed in the early years to today’s high-speed, modular, and automated systems, the objective has always remained the same: turning engineering into measurable production value.
