🌍 On World Vitiligo Day, we advocate for better understanding, more inclusive research, and improved access to treatment options. Every skin tone, every story, every patient matters.
Vitiligo is a chronic, acquired, depigmenting condition of the skin in which the cells (Melanocytes) that give colour to the skin, hair, and eyes are progressively lost. It appears as milky-white patches of skin and can be psychologically debilitating. It can affect people of all ages, gender, race or ethnicity.
Today is about learning, listening, empathising and standing in solidarity. Let’s continue to build a community where everyone feels valued and supported.
