SIMPLICITY
When we simplify our life, we are in fact enriching it.
We often become consumed by the number of choices we need to make and material expectations of the world around us. By simplifying our needs we may notice that our choices become easier and we have more time for the things that enhance our lives like family, friends or spiritual practice. We come to realize that true security and happiness are found withIN and not withOUT.

LETTING GO..
Releasing the baggage from our past allows us to move forward unencumbered. As we move through life, our experiences become a part of who we are. Though our positive experiences usually build us up, our painful experiences can weigh us down if we don't process and release them properly. Once we become aware that echoes from the past are unduly influencing us, we can make a conscious decision to release the emotional hold of betrayals, hurts, and disappointments we may have experienced. Doing so will immediately make us feel lighter and freer and we are then able to devote our full attention to our current life experience. What do you need to let go of today?

EMBODIMENT
How often do you allow yourself to be with the feelings that are arising? Most of us will do what we can to avoid feeling what's there to be felt. EVEN the good feelings. Yet, the most powerful form of healing comes through learning how to be with the full spectrum of SELF without judgment, without attachment.
If we are numb, disconnected, overwhelmed, frozen or in avoidance to life, we are not operating from the fullness of our capacity.

When we are not operating from the fullness of our capacity, it feels very hard to trust ourselves, to know ourselves, to love ourselves and to take action that is aligned with our highest good.❤️

AUTUMN is a season of deficiency and change. When the temperatures start to drop, the body naturally tries to protect itself from heat loss. But how?
Your body knows what it needs to function best in all seasons. The warm, oily, heavier foods available this time of year prepare the body's reserves for winter while providing the vital energy that rules our immunity and strength.
Nourishing foods, especially soups (my personal favourite) become more enticing while offering the added benefits of refortifying the deficient tissue and thickening the skin, which insulates your body from the cold. Some nourishing choices for the Autumn months include root vegetables like carots and beets as well as pumpkins, butternut squash along with ghee, cooked apples and almonds.

MINDFUL EMOTIONS..being mindful involves creating space tò reflect on whatever you are feeling with no judgement. Instead of giving in to these feelings focus on how they can help you gain knowledge from the experience and become wiser. The challenges we face in life are inevitable, but we can make the choice tò grow from them.

Worry Is an extension of fear and can be a very draining experience. Next time you find yourself worrying, imagine the best results instead of focusing on the worst outcome. Try generating peace and wellness instead of nervousness and unease within yourself. I find that deep breathing helps with this. You can better confront the situation, own your power to change it and ultimately you will have no reason to worry!
