Surgery Academy’s mission is therefore to offer tomorrow’s leading surgeons the best education experience ever, filling the gap between Medical School rigid protocols and the willingness of their students to get access to the most advanced educational content. Surgery Academy educators are surgeons wearing Google Glasses live streaming their procedures to students enrolled in the MOOC. In addition, students are offered a second layer of information: vital signs, diagnostic imaging and the surgeon’s live comment.
