OKTAGON, one of Europe’s leading Kickboxing promotions will present OKTAGON ROME featuring an official qualifying round for the K-1 WORLD MAX WGP, Saturday 29th November 2025 at the Pala Pellicone Ostia, Italy. The 70kg 4-Man tournament will feature ISKA World Champions Lorenzo Di Vara (Italy) and Taras Hnatchuk (Ukraine), ISKA Intercontinental Champion Lissandre Mercier (France) and ISKA British Champion Tom Kirk (England), it’s a qualifier for K-1 WORLD MAX 2026. Tokyo, Japan 15th November 2025, the K-1 WORLD MAX 2024 finals was staged at Yoyogi Arena and delivered all the excitement and drama of the original K-1 MAX 8-man tournaments. Jonas Salsicha did not enter the tournament as a favourite but caused an upset, dominating K-1 champion Ouyang Feng, winning a unanimous decision, he then made short work of Jonathan Aiulu stopping him is 30 seconds. In the final Salsicha met Darryl Verdonk who had knockout the defending Champion Stoyan Koprivlenski, Salsicha stopped Verdonk in the first round with brutal body kicks to become the first Brazilian K-1 MAX Champion.

Fukuoka, Japan, 13th July 2025 ECO presented K-1 DONTAKU at the Fukuoka Marine Arena. K-1 Champion Roel Mannaart (Netherlands) successfully defended his World heavyweight title defeating K-Jee (Japan) by Knockout in the second round. K-1 Women’s Champion SAHO (Japan) retained her World flyweight title defeating ISKA Intercontinental Champion Lara Fernandez (Spain) by unanimous decision. ISKA and K-1 World Champion Terada Takumi (Japan) scored a brutal first round KO against Angelos Kaponis Greece) in a non-title Super Fight.
