TRIO.BAS is a new portable instrument, unique in the market. It is available in different versions: Mini, MONO, DUO, TRIO, ISOLATOR, GAS.

From pioneers of the first portable air sampler in the 1980s to leaders in contamination control: with the TRIO.BAS™, CONT.AIR and GENIUS SYSTEM, Orum International provides integrated monitoring of viable and non-viable particles. “Orum International Srl” is an Italian company born from the long experience acquired by Roberto and Sandro Ligugnana brothers in the world of scientific microbiology instruments. After founding the company PBI International during the 60’, the activities of the Ligugnana brothers was concentrated on creating innovative solutions for microbiology with invention, marketing and production of tools to standardize microbiological controls in the pharmaceutical, agro-food, hospital and biotechnology fields. In the 80’ they have designed, created and patented the first portable microbiological air sampler SAS (Surface Air Sampler) which became the reference tool for monitoring the microbiological contamination of the air. After creating the first portable sampler, the Company today introduces a new model the TRIO.BAS (patented) taking advantage of the gained experience, together with the new technologies and application needs.

Look at this special squad that was roaming the rooftops last night! Our favorite "instruments" traded their Santa hats for brooms for the grand finale of the holiday season.

Their sacks are stuffed full: colorful treats for those who've been good, and naturally, a lump of coal for the mischievous ones! 😉🍬⚫

Our full team of TRIO.BAS™ units (including our stainless steel friend!) is gathered on the bench to wish you well. The holographic tree is glowing, and yes, that is a Panettone our technician is holding!.
