Hands With Heart isn’t “just” about helping during missions … its deeper purpose is to raise awareness within the volunteers who take part.
And as a mission tutor, I feel that on a very personal level.

It was precisely from this experience that the Osteopathy and Disability project was born… right here, near Modena, in the town of Lama Mocogno.
A project made possible thanks to the courage and determination of two incredible mothers, Agnese and Jessica, who welcomed me into their beautiful world: the association Giochi Senza Barriere (“Games Without Barriers”).

Because missions aren’t just about offering help they’re about shifting our perspective and opening up new possibilities.
Every child, wherever they are, deserves care, presence, and opportunity.
And each of us can spark meaningful change — even right where we live.

Wrapped in the sounds of the rainforest and the quiet rhythm of breath, I sat barefoot on the veranda, treating one last little one on a blanket laid gently over the earth.

Today marks the end of my time with the Bribri community in Costa Rica — a place where modern medicine and ancestral wisdom coexist in silence, and where each child reminded me why I do what I do.

There were no polished clinics, no diagnostic charts — only presence, respect, and deep listening.
And somehow, that was more than enough.

I leave this mission changed — softer, stronger, and deeply grateful.
Grateful for the trust, the smiles, the unspoken understanding.
Grateful for the hands that welcomed mine.

Pura vida, always.

✨ 4º Seminario di Osteopatia Pediatrica ✨
Una tappa speciale per il corso di cui ho l’onore di essere direttrice didattica.

Abbiamo avuto il privilegio di ospitare come special guest Alain Auberville, osteopata francese di grande esperienza e sensibilità clinica, tradotto con eleganza e precisione dalla bravissima Lucia Cardinali.

La clinica con i bambini è stata un successo: momenti intensi, ricchi di ascolto e presenza, che hanno reso il seminario ancora più vivo e concreto.

Un grazie speciale ai tutor della clinica, Emanuele Chiggiato (direttore della scuola) e Giulia Peruzzi, per la loro guida attenta e generosa.

E poi loro: gli allievi. Un gruppo curioso, motivato e appassionato, che lavora con serietà e cuore. Sono molto orgogliosa di ognuno di voi.

Grazie alla sede Fulcro a Marcon (Mestre) per l’accoglienza sempre impeccabile.
Ci portiamo a casa nuovi strumenti, nuove domande e tanta energia per continuare a crescere. 🌱
