Grave KCS in due pazienti affetti da lussazione cronica della ghiandola nittitante: in entrambi i casi il test di Schirmer è pari a 0 e nel primo caso è presente un’ulcera stromale secondaria. Il prolasso della ghiandola va sempre ridotto chirurgicamente in modo da preservare la sua funzionalità. Severe KCS in two dogs suffering from chronic third eyelid gland luxation: in both cases the Schirmer tear test value is 0 and in the first case there’s a secondary stromal ulcer. The prolapsed gland must always be surgically repositioned in order to preserve his function.
