Today’s Troop Time looked like loaded hot dogs piled high, creamy pasta salad on the side, and the sound of Mario Kart battles filling the room. 🎮
Every Tuesday and Thursday, we open our doors for one simple reason—to give our service members a moment to exhale. A place to set down the weight of the workday, grab a good meal, and just be. Whether it’s competing on the Nintendo Switch, swapping stories over lunch, or simply sitting in a space that feels a little more like home, Troop Time is our way of saying: we see you, we appreciate you, and we’ve got you.

It starts with Painting and Pastries at Capo Lounge, then military spouses gather for coffee and plant propagation with Rooting For You.
Moms and little ones make no-bake cake pops, dads and daughters hit the dance floor for a night to remember, and shamrock shakes make the perfect midday escape.
Trivia lovers, Game Night at EAT TF has your name on it — and we're closing out the month with a Taste of Home BBQ just for single service members.

Today at Craft Attack, our amazing kids decorated terra cotta pots and turned them into colorful works of art!

It was a beautiful day outside, and it was so nice to see everyone enjoying the day. The smiles, creativity, and sense of accomplishment made it such a special time.

Craft Attack is a fun way for our military kids to get creative and take a little piece of the experience home with them..

Today, the USO Naples proudly hosted the Sailor of the Quarter Recognition Luncheon at the Capodichino Air Terminal, bringing together area commands from across the area to celebrate their outstanding sailors. This event is made possible with the precious coordination of NSA CMC and team, and today we were honored to welcome Vice Admiral Anderson, Commander, US Navy Sixth Fleet, as the event guest speaker. VADM congratulated and coined each awardee, recognizing their professionalism, leadership, and unwavering commitment to mission success. USO Area Director, Sabrina Pullido proudly presented recognition plaques sponsored by our valued partner USAA, reinforcing the strong support of our civilian community behind the US Armed Forces.
Sailors and their command leads enjoyed a special lunch prepared by the USO team of staff and volunteers. On March 15th from 2 to 4 PM, USO Naples is hosting a magical afternoon filled with dancing, games, photo moments, and unforgettable memories. Professional photography by Andreina Noguera will capture those special smiles so you can treasure them for years to come.

This is a FREE event, but you must register in person. Spots are limited. Stop by your local USO to sign up with a team member and receive your official invitation:

Monday’s Toddler Time was a roaring good time! 🦖🎶 This program is all about our little ones and their families, giving kids a chance to play, explore, and grow in a safe, welcoming space at the USO.

Toddler Time exists to support early learning, socialization, and the development of important skills like mobility and dexterity (hello, sensory bin!). Programs like this help families build connection, create a sense of belonging, and establish a fun, supportive routine.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and we can’t wait to see you back next week for a special Dr. Seuss–themed Toddler Time!

We’re proud to recognize Emily Davis as our Volunteer of the Quarter!

This quarter, Emily has gone above and beyond to support our Troop Lunches and programs, often waking up at 5:00 a.m. to help prepare and serve meals for 50 or more service members. From baking homemade treats to supporting multiple events in one day, she consistently steps in wherever she is needed. 💙

What truly makes Emily special is the way she connects. She takes time to personally engage with each service member, creating a welcoming, family-like environment where everyone feels seen and appreciated.

Her reliability, leadership, and heart for service strengthen every program she touches. Emily does not just volunteer. She builds community.
