📌 Introduction to Head Impulse Test — Related Anatomy & Physiology, Examination Performance, Results Interpretation

🔎 This presentation will provide a comprehensive introduction to the Video Head Impulse Test (vHIT), focusing on the fundamental anatomy and physiology of the semicircular canals and the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR). Practical guidelines for proper test performance, common technical pitfalls and how to avoid them, as well as the main methods of gain calculation and saccadic analysis will be presented. Special emphasis will be placed on accurate result interpretation and integration with other vestibular assessments.
The aim is to deliver clear, clinically applicable knowledge for professionals who wish to implement or optimize vHIT in their daily practice.
