A central theme is the importance of connecting the past and the present: it emphasizes the need to understand the history of scientific thought (from Hippocrates to Sabin) as an ethical foundation for the future development of Artificial Intelligence so that it truly represents progress for the human species.

Il fascicolo Volume 8, Numero 2 (giugno 2025) di IJPDTM presenta una varietà di articoli che spaziano dall’alimentazione alla sostenibilità ambientale, fino alle pratiche sanitarie con un impatto diretto su salute e società. Pitzalis (pp. 43–49) esplora gli alimenti afrodisiaci, valutandone proprietà nutrizionali e meccanismi proposti, con una discussione critica sulle evidenze cliniche e implicazioni per la salute sessuale. Pezzella (pp. 50–57) si concentra sull’inquinamento da rifiuti ospedalieri, offrendo un’analisi dettagliata delle tipologie di scarto residuo sanitario e proponendo soluzioni tecnologico-organizzative volte a migliorare la gestione e ridurre l’impatto ambientale.
