A complex revision: six months after surgery.

This patient came to us after having permanent filler injected throughout her face and multiple unsuccessful attempts at removal, including laser treatments that left fibrotic and scarred tissues behind.

In such cases, the challenge is not only aesthetic but reconstructive, restoring soft tissue quality and facial harmony while minimizing the visible impact of previous procedures.

We performed a revision face lifting with my Total SMAS technique combined with a comprehensive removal of the permanent filler, upper and lower blepharoplasty, and full-face fat grafting to rebuild natural contours and improve texture.

Six months later, we carried out an additional refinement fat grafting session, further enhancing volume balance and skin quality.

The result speaks of patience and precision, transforming compromised tissues into a natural, harmonious, and long-lasting outcome.

It’s been a true pleasure to contribute, share my techniques - the Total SMAS face and neck lifting and the Temporal MORE - and learn from so many brilliant minds.

Events like this remind us why our field keeps evolving, driven by collaboration, innovation, and the pursuit of natural, lasting beauty.

Complex case of revision rhinoplasty: less than a year later, an outstanding result.

Revision cases are always among the most delicate challenges in facial surgery. The anatomy is often distorted, tissues are fibrotic, and the natural landmarks can be difficult to identify.

In this case, the patient presented with an amorphous tip and an inverted-V deformity following a previous surgery. Through careful planning and a tailored approach, we restored both structure and harmony, refining the nasal contour while maintaining the natural character of her face.

Less than a year after surgery, the nose looks balanced, refined, and stable, a true example of how precision and respect for anatomy make all the difference, even in complex secondary cases.

5 months after Temporal MORE, lower pinch blepharoplasty, and revision rhinoplasty.

This beautiful patient came to us seeking a more harmonious and refreshed appearance after a previous surgery had left some imbalance in the midface and nasal area.

Through my Temporal MORE technique, we lifted and reshaped the lateral face, restoring a smoother transition across the midface and correcting the tear trough deformity.

The lower pinch blepharoplasty refined the under-eye contour while preserving her natural expression, and the revision rhinoplasty completed the overall balance of the profile.

Now, five months later, the result speaks for itself: a natural, youthful, and perfectly proportioned look, achieved through precision and attention to every detail.

In memory of Dr. Sam Hamra.

Some days ago, our field lost one of its true pioneers.

Dr. Hamra was not only the father of the Deep Plane facelift, but a visionary who reshaped the way we understand and approach facial rejuvenation.

I had the privilege of meeting him several times around the world, encounters that deeply influenced my professional journey.

His work and teachings have been a cornerstone in my belief that the Deep Plane remains the most powerful and effective technique to achieve natural, long-lasting results.

A brilliant mind, a generous teacher, and an inspiration for generations of surgeons.

His legacy will continue to guide us every day, in every operating room.

Rest in peace, Dr. Hamra.
