Pilates is about learning how to balance the PUSH AND PULL… it’s about learning how to use the pressure to create intraddominal compression and decompression of the spine … that’s why we have the SPRINGS… this has a deep beneficial effect on our organs, nervous system, breath, functioning , presence , happiness , health.
Push through and reverse push through are wonderful exercises to feel how to flex our back properly and fully, using the bar to guide the lengthen of the whole spine and using the action of pushing to create the vacuum in the stomach and the mobility of spine and shoulders.
Push with trust and listening to your body to find the balance, the organization and the relationship among the parts of the body, not the blocks !
