Many colleagues have asked for an English version of my previous post, so I’m happy to share once again this professional milestone.
Stanford University, in collaboration with the scientific publisher Elsevier, has released the World’s 2% Top Scientists Ranking 2025, and I am honored that my name appears among the top 2% of the most‑cited scientists worldwide.
This recognition, based on a comprehensive bibliometric analysis from the Scopus database — which considers metrics such as citations, h‑index, co‑authorship adjusted hm‑index, citations to papers in different authorship positions, and the composite score c‑score — confirms the international relevance of my scientific work.
It represents an important milestone for the Departmental Section of Legal Medicine, University of Turin, and highlights the growing contribution of forensic odontology and medico‑legal investigations to the advancement of knowledge and human identification.
This achievement strengthens my commitment to research and collaboration, and motivates me to continue pursuing excellence in forensic science and education — contributing, together with many distinguished colleagues, to the growth and global visibility of Italian research.
