***Update: just 1 space left***
Generations of economic stability have separated us from the cycles and rhythms of nature. We have forgotten how to autumn and winter. We have forgotten about the connection of our body to the earth. Our daily lives are becoming more stressful due to economic and climate changes out of our control. We don't know how to respond. There are no logical fixes to the global chaos. We have to move with this powerful force and open the door to personal and systemic transformation. Autumn and wintering is a process of grief. A natural way to detox, release, and move through change.
The new moon in Scorpio is exact on Thursday 20th November. We will be gathering in the yoga studio on Monday 17th November at 7.30pm just as the moon is moving into Scorpio. The very beginnings of the new moon phase for November. The energies of this new moon are powerful. Supporting us to listen in, feel the discomfort in our body, shed old patterns through compassion, forgiveness and acceptance. Igniting our free will choice to recognise our value and self-worth. This new moon is a rite of passage into feeling safe and grounded in our body, in our relationships and in our daily lives.
In this 90-minute session we will be moving with ta***ic goddess Tara. Tara means star. We will track her shakti infused energy of compassion and truth through our body, shedding old patterns, like a snake sheds its outgrown skin. The yoga will take place in a circle of women. We will use energy practices and discussion to support us to illuminate and drop attachments to our identity.
My work at Synthesis encourages us back into our body, emotions and energy field. Reconnecting to nature through our senses. The nervous system is of key importance in the process. Soothing, calming and unpacking the trauma that we hold within our entire body. A somatic approach is central, but that combined with talking and coaching facilitates empowerment through activation of willpower.
We will use the vibe of this new moon to reflect, release, and prioritise actions for the next 28-day cycle of change.
