Feeling the Blue Monday dip? 💙Let’s treat today like a gentle reset.🩵
At Prana Health & Health, I like keep it simple: supporting your nervous system, reconnecting with your body, and coming back to the present. You don’t need a big overhaul—just a few intentional choices. 🫶🏼
Self-care ideas for today:
🌿Connect with nature: take a 10–20 minute walk outside (even if it’s grey). Notice 5 things you can see, 4 you can touch, 3 you can hear, 2 things you can smell and 1 think you can taste.
😌Meditation (3 minutes counts): sit comfortably, soften your jaw, and follow your breath. When your mind wanders, kindly return.
🧘♀️Gentle yoga: slow stretches, forward folds, and a few minutes of legs up the wall to calm the body.
💆♀️Massage/self-massage: warm a little oil or moisturiser and massage your shoulders, neck, hands, and feet to invite relaxation.
💕Reach out: message and reach out to a friend that one you haven’t spoken to in a while - connection is powerful medicine.
🌳Nature + Breath — step outside and do 6 slow breaths:
Inhale for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 6 times.
Longer exhales signal safety to the body and help ease stress, and calms the nervous system
