*TAI CHI AND QIGONG CLASSES RESTARTING AT ELEMENTAL HEALTH*

Wednesdays - 7:15pm - 8:15pm
Run by John Webber - Atubah Tai Chi.

These classes gently introduce both Tai Chi and Qigong practice with simple exercises that you can bring into your everyday life.

During practice, slow and gentle movements are used to develop internal energy known as Qi, to help promote better physical and mental wellbeing. This internal energy is then used to optimize physical performance and cultivate a sense of balance, harmony and relaxation.

Tai Chi is an encyclopaedia for your mind, body and spirit. Within its graceful movements and rhythmic flow are the lessons of balance that can form a guide to our own journeys through life. Through a process of self-refinement, focus of the mind, and mindful relaxation, we learn to approach life with a sense of stillness.

Jenna is a qualified Basi Global Comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor, 300-hour RYT Yoga Teacher and a Certified Pre/Post Natal and Diastasis Recti Specialist.

She has spent the last 10 years working with a diverse range of clients and needs, but has naturally gravitated towards whole-body rehab work that she has named 'Movement Therapy'. Before having her family, she created and owned Ouen Pilates, Jersey's first reformer Pilates studio.

Her passion is helping clients reconnect their core and realign their movement after injury, surgery or childbirth, so that they can return to doing what they love safely and sustainably. She is specialised in movement assessment and corrective exercise, allowing her to evaluate how bodies move and why, identify imbalances, and retrain key muscle groups.

She blends training in Pre & Post-Natal, Diastasis Recti, Spinal Conditions and Injuries, Kinetic Therapy, Fascia Release and Athletic Performance to help the body in front of her find optimal, confident movement.

Each session focuses on addressing imbalances and incorrect movement patterns using a mix of: mat-based and reformer pilates exercises, weights/props, hands-on release techniques and stretching.
