Are you a small business who needs a Covid 19 workplace risk assessment to cover employees returning to work?
I have put together a risk assessment process to assist small to medium sized employers in ensuring adequate infection control. This is a process you carry out yourselves. Those that are unfamiliar with the risk assessment process can log onto my website www.safety.je and sign up for an online course titled "Introduction to Risk Assessment". I have discounted the cost of the training course to £35.00. It is ideal preparation prior to then carrying out the Covid 19 risk assessment.The Covid 19 risk assessment format can be purchased for £95.00 by contacting me by email - tony@safety.je
I will e mail you a guidance document to enable you to identify, evaluate and control the potential risks you identify in your workplace. You also get a blank risk assessment format for completion.

After receiving the latest news that 10 persons have tested positive for the virus and the two most recent cases have been contracted within the island, TPT will suspend all training courses as from Monday 23rd March 2020.
It is clear we have entered a more alarming phase and a higher potential to spread the virus.
In line with the Governments strategy to flatten the curve to reduce potential infections to enable our medical services to cope we cannot ensure social distancing in a training environment hence the decision to suspend training services.
TPT will continue to offer online training, consultancy, production of risk assessments and telephone support. More info is on www. safety.je

Its always interesting to get an unusual training requirement. Training this week included training and assessments on an over 5 tonne capacity forklift. These large machines require huge respect! The weight, size and power of this Mitsubishi is truly awesome. Well done to the lads at the JEC for their enthusiasm and willingness to get things right.
