Grant and Penny Henderson are Jersey's most experienced Chiropractic and Medical Acupuncture team. A small and well respected healthcare team they are able to offer treatments for a variety of conditions. They make recommendations for the best approach based on their experience and the nature of the issue you come in with. The choice of treatments is very much a partnership between you and your practitioner. Their aim is to reduce your discomfort and help your body back to optimal function. Alongside treatment, this is likely to include advice on lifestyle, posture and exercises. McTimoney Chiropractic is a gentle treatment for neck, back & shoulder, arthritic and muscular pain, Headaches, migraines and joint stiffness and pregnancy related back and pelvic girdle pain. Western Medical Acupuncture is a therapeutic modality that entails the insertion of fine needles. It represents an adaptation of Chinese acupuncture, integrating contemporary insights into anatomy, physiology, and pathology, as well as adhering to the principles of evidence-based medicine. Substantial Western scientific research on pain has contributed to our understanding of how acupuncture operates. Specifically, it has been observed that acupuncture triggers the release of natural pain-relieving and healing chemicals within our bodies. In essence, acupuncture seems to facilitate the body's inherent healing processes. Breast-feeding Support - Penny is qualified in breastfeeding support and offers one to one appointments in your own home to provide support on your breastfeeding journey. Penny addresses many common difficulties in breast-feeding, such as ni**le and breastpain, latching difficulties, low/over supply, mastitis, combi-feeding, breastfeeding and return to work and weaning from breast-feeding. Wellness in the Workplace.Grant's combined skills of chiropractic and ergonomic training alongside his thousands of hours of clinical practice and training have deepened his knowledge in both areas and place him in a unique position to offer the best specialist advice to chiropractic patients and employers in the Channel Islands. Grant provides a consultancy service to a wide range of employers in Jersey. He carries out workstation assessments, delivers workshops to improve wellbeing in the workplace and provides specialist office equipment including sit stand desks and ergonomic office chairs. Over the last 30 years Grant has performed thousands of work station assessments for employers, helping thousands of office workers. He is well known to and recommended by many of Jersey’s employers and States departments. Grant holds the industry recognised NEBOSH Health and Safety At Work and the IOSH Managing Occupational Health and Wellbeing qualifications.

If you are hoping to book in before the New Year, we do have limited appointments available, and these tend to fill quickly at this time of year. Our online booking system is open 24/7 via our website, so that you can secure your appointment whenever it suits you.

Every person's healing journey is unique. Some patients notice improvements straight away, whilst others may need several treatments before experiencing significant relief. This isn't necessarily a reflection of the severity of your condition or the effectiveness of treatment, it simply shows that everyone's body responds differently and heals at its own pace. We all have different stresses in our lives and different lifestyles which may also impact our healing.

Remember, healing isn't linear, you may have good days and more challenging days as your body works through the process and depending on what else is happening in your life at that time.

We offer you advice on aftercare and any necessary lifestyle changes and changes to your workstation to help you get the most out of your care.

After a consultation and explanation of our working diagnosis, we offer you a treatment and then explain our findings after treatment. We always allow an hour for your first appointment. We offer gowns to wear, or you can bring shorts and t shirt, or chose to remain dressed for your treatment.
