LIDO MEDICAL PRACTICE – Exciting Full Time Partnership Opportunity (7-9 sessions per week)

Small, friendly family practice in purpose built surgery with stunning views over St Helier. Already very high earning and our list size is increasing rapidly – fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated GP. Jersey is NOT part of the NHS and is a government subsidised private practice model allowing much greater autonomy and freedom from bureaucracy.

· Ethos of being a proper “family doctor” with the real ability to build a longstanding doctor -patient relationship with your patients and their families – a much more fulfilling way to work

· List size 3800 patients with 3 FTE GPs

· Many families registered with us have 3 or even 4 generations of the same family on our list

· Good patient access to appointments – no backed up, overloaded NHS to contend with

· GP practice is within a large purpose built medical complex with many other independent healthcare professionals on site including private radiology, physiotherapists, osteopaths, dentists, psychologists, Macmillan Centre, Pharmacy and Private consulting rooms for local hospital consultants. It is a dynamic, friendly building.

· Low tax, good schools

· Short flight from many UK airports, or ferry from UK or France

· Potential additional income from weekend/evening working in Out of Hours if desired.

This position has arisen due to an ill health retirement and is available immediately (a 3 month salaried initial position with a view to partnership).
