Our incredible FCJ Primary team, Takedown, placed 3rd overall at today’s F1 STEM Racing competition at Trinity Showground — across multiple judged categories and the full competition standings.

From engineering design and data analysis to branding, sponsorship and race performance; they delivered the complete package with confidence and professionalism throughout the day.

Meet the Judges Behind Jersey’s Youngest Racing Talent 🏎️

On Friday 27 February 2026, primary students from across Jersey will race the mini F1 cars they’ve designed and built themselves. These are the judges who will be watching every detail 👀🏁

Through STEM Racing, students test ideas, solve real design problems and work as a team to bring their cars to life. Race day is where that hard work comes together

Our judges will be looking for creative thinking, smart engineering choices, strong teamwork and confident presentations. As the Centre of Excellence for STEM Racing in Jersey, we provide schools with design kits, teacher briefings and hands-on support throughout the year.
