Body Forte' wants a healthier and more physical Jamaica that embraces the use of Physiotherapy, Pilates and Wellness services so that everyone can operate at an optimum performance level on a daily basis. Our highly trained team consists of licensed Physiotherapists and Pilates practitioners. We are unique because:

• We use a whole body integral approach to source and treat the causes versus only treating symptoms providing long term and permanent recovery. We use detailed assessment techniques to find and treat the causes of movement dysfunctions that cause various injuries versus only treating the symptoms. We also offer post rehab Pilates to ensure injury prevention and maintenance.
• We use Pilates as a tool to enhance our traditional Physiotherapy skills and to get our customers more actively enrolled in their recovery process.
• We are your movement experts-Coaching/teaching intelligent and efficient ways to move your body whether you are a couch potato, professional athlete, just had surgery or sit at your desk for hours on end. We promise you a successful movement experience every time!

From Kingston to Canada, from Miami to France, the Pilates world is coming together to help Jamaica rebuild. Body Forté is spearheading Move for Jamaica, a global fundraising initiative supporting relief efforts after Hurricane Melissa.

Over the next two weeks, studios worldwide will dedicate special classes, donating proceeds to help communities recover and rebuild, proving that movement really does connect us all. Join the movement and support the cause, let’s Move for Jamaica.💚💛🖤

We hope you and your loved ones are safe and recovering well after Hurricane Melissa. Our hearts go out to everyone affected across Jamaica.

We will be collecting donation items for those most severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. We’re asking for donations of non-perishable items, guided by the Government of Jamaica’s Needs List.

In light of the catastrophic impact of Hurricane Melissa and the recovery efforts now taking place across Jamaica, we’ve postponed our Ageing Strong & Steady workshop.

Stay safe, stay strong, and keep moving forward. 💙🇯🇲

Whether you’re in the studio or at home, these two moves will have your balance tested, your spine stretched and your core activated. 💫

Here Justine demonstrates Saw and a Side Kneeling variation that targets the obliques.

🔸1. Saw: Sitting tall with legs in a wide V and arms extended, inhale and twist the torso from the waist to one side. Exhale and hinge forward, arm reaching for the opposite foot, pulse forward 3 times to “”saw”” off the little toe. Inhale and return to an upright, neutral spine, then repeat on the other side.

🔸2. Side Kneeling Variation: Kneel upright with one leg extended to the side. Keeping the hips square, tilt torso away from the extended leg, then return to an upright position. To spice things up, after tilting, add a twist from the waist to face the floor, keeping elbows wide and chest open.

Save this workout for later and tag us when you try it, we love to see you move! 💙
