Dr. Roger Smith is a nephrologist and internist practising out offices at Meridian Medical Specialists conveniently located next door to Andrew's Memorial Hospital. He is medical director for the Katie Hoo hemodialysis unit and Hargreaves Dialysis. He is a lecturer at the University of The West Indies in Internal Medicine. He provides consultation on acquired and genetic kidney disease in the inpatient and outpatient setting. He is a coauthor on papers laying the foundation of the epidemiology of chronic kidney disease in Jamaica and now has an active interest in preventing acute kidney injury.
