Every 2nd Sunday in November is marked as Remembrance Sunday to honour the contributions made to World War I and World War II.

BlackPoppyRose honours ALL those who fought contributed and sacrificed for King and Country.

We ensure we remember as many as possible and under what these wars and what it really meant for African, Black, West Indian, Caribbean, Pacific Islands and Indigenous Communities who served whether voluntarily or by force. (For Great Britain, France, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Italy, The Netherlands, America and Canada)

To the communities impacted in ways that led them to lose so much and yet still their memory lacks a certain respect.

Our Ancestors are NOT forgotten, they live as we live and We WILL REMEMBER.

We will learn and share these histories with all people of the world alongside the children descendants of those who gave their lives so they too can learn the truth about their ancestral heritage and legacies.
