On Saturday, December 13, 2025, the ICHS Alumni Association New York Chapter proudly hosted 40th Anniversary Luncheon Gala.

The ICHS Alumni Association Jamaica was honored to be represented by our President, Carmela Azan Richards, who served as the keynote speaker for this milestone celebration. Her presence highlighted the strong bond between chapters and the shared commitment to preserving the legacy and advancing the mission of the Association.

During the visit, our President met with the New York Chapter’s President and executive body, where they engaged in meaningful discussions surrounding future goals, strategic growth, and the continued development of the Association. Conversations also centered on initiatives and plans being put in place to support and strengthen the home of Phenomenal Women, ensuring its sustainability and impact for generations to come.

Events like these reinforce the importance of collaboration, leadership and unity across chapters as we collectively work toward a shared vision for the future.

As we come to the end of this year’s series, we wanted to close with something truly inspirational. In Episode 5, we end strong with a resilient and inspiring woman who shares her journey of courage and healing. We are grateful to have Mrs. Sharifa Murdock share her story:
