Here's another variety of Dandelion. All Dandelions are from the sunflower family. This one is also known as wild coffee, negro coffee, p**s-a-bed. It has similar uses as the one in previous post but in Jamaica it is mainly used for cold, kidney and bladder problems, back pain, as a liver tonic and shortness of breath.

The seeds are parched and grounded and used as a coffee substitute which is said to be useful for jaundice, kidney and bladder problems. Hence the common name: "p**s-a-bed".

The uses vary depending on the culture:
