Grateful for the opportunity to be invited once again as Guest Speaker at the Canadian Laser and Aesthetic Specialists Society’s annual symposium. My presentations on the 650 microsecond Nd:YAG laser treatment of acne and combination treatments with laser, injectables and regenerative treatments for rejuvenation were highly commended and very well received. To God be the glory!

Though my heart remains heavy with the reality of the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and the temporary closure of our Montego Bay office, my Canadian colleagues’ solidarity and expressions of concern for all impacted meant a lot. Together we shall rise again!

We were grateful for an amazing day packed with excellent lectures and with fantastic pearls shared by our esteemed guest speaker, Dr. Anshoo Sahota the President Elect of the British Association of Dermatologist. It was my pleasure to meet him and other colleagues from many different countries. Together we enhance knowledge to keep serving our patients with excellence and compassion. I also enjoyed the fun Photo Booth to decompress and express ourselves.

Honoured to be invited to do the Opening Prayer and to speak on the treatment of acne scarring at the 34th annual CDA conference in Trinidad. Despite my heavy heart with the situation in Jamaica, I pushed ahead and was able to enhance my knowledge and impart knowledge so we can be even better equipped to serve our patients in the region. Happy to share knowledge about Aerolase laser treatment and other treatment of acne scars.
