Before sleep, take a few moments to release the weight of the day.
Place your hand on your heart and gently close your eyes. Say to yourself, silently or out loud: “I release everything my body and mind carried today that no longer serves me.”
Imagine all the thoughts, emotions, and tension of the day gathering in one small place in your chest. Slowly allow that energy to move down through your body and out through your fingers.
You may feel warmth, heaviness, or tingling in your hands...
Repeat the process a few times until your body feels lighter.
When the mind is clear and the body is relaxed, the nervous system settles… and sleep comes more peacefully.
