Sometimes the body whispers the truth before the mind is ready to hear it.
In this retreat, we softened one of the most protected places in the human body:
the abdominal belt of tension.
The place we hold fear, control, instinct, and the emotions we never felt safe to feel.
For three days, we breathed into our centers.
We shook, laughed, danced, hiked, cried a little, opened a lot.
We let our bellies rise and fall freely again.
We let the body guide us back to safety.
Safe to Feel.
Safe to soften.
Safe to be held by nature, by the group, by our breath.
Every moment from the mountains of Wadi Dana, to the candlelit nights in Feynan,
to the small belly dance choreography we made up, to the quiet stargazing
kept reminding us:
✨ When the body feels safe, the heart becomes free. ✨
Thank you to everyone who showed up with courage, tenderness, and truth.
You made this retreat a sanctuary.
Until the next time
may your belly stay soft, your breath stay deep
and your emotions have a home to land in. 🤍
