Who decides your medical licensing documents โ the Health Authority or DataFlow?
๐ฅ Hereโs how the Gulf medical licensing process really works.
1๏ธโฃ The Health Authority sets the rules.
Each Gulf country has its own health authority โ such as SCFHS (Saudi Arabia), DHA/DOH (UAE), QCHP (Qatar), OMSB (Oman), NHRA (Bahrain) โ and it is the authority that decides which documents are required for your licence.
2๏ธโฃ After preparing your documents, you start the DataFlow (PSV) process.
DataFlowโs role is to verify your qualifications, licences, and experience directly from the source (universities, hospitals, and regulators). It does not decide eligibility, but provides the official verification the health authority needs.
3๏ธโฃ Once DataFlow is completed successfully, you can book your licensing exam.
(e.g. Prometric or Pearson VUE, depending on the country).
4๏ธโฃ Finally, complete your registration with the Health Authority.
Submit your DataFlow report and exam result to get your official licence to practice.
โ
In summary:
Health Authority โ determines required documents.
DataFlow โ verifies them.
Exam โ proves your competency.
Final Registration โ grants your licence.
At Q&M Services, we manage all steps โ preparing your documents, launching your DataFlow file, booking exams, and completing your registration across the Gulf.
