Obituary: Passing of Dr. Toshikatsu Yamamoto, Honorary Chairman and Founder
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Toshikatsu Yamamoto, the Honorary Chairman and Founder of the Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture (YNSA) Association.
As the creator of YNSA, Dr. Yamamoto dedicated his entire life to exploring the fundamental essence of clinical practice and the true meaning of patient-centered medical care. Even in his later years, he remained active on the front lines, and his commitment to continuous evolution served as our greatest lesson and guiding light.
The words he shared, the clinical mastery he demonstrated, and the example he set will continue to live on within each of us.
In accordance with Dr. Yamamoto’s final wish—"to help those in need through YNSA"—the Association is committed to upholding his legacy. We will faithfully and sincerely pass on his spirit and techniques to the next generation.
We express our deepest gratitude and heartfelt condolences, and we pray for the peaceful repose of his soul.

Notice of the Passing of the Honorary President
We regret to inform you that Toshikatsu Yamamoto、 Honorary President of the YNSA Society and my beloved father, has passed away.
Throughout his life, he devoted himself to the development and dissemination of YNSA, walking alongside many clinicians.
He often said, “My patients are my greatest teachers.”
He always valued learning from his patients, placed clinical practice above all else, and warmly supported younger practitioners with kindness and respect for each individual.
The funeral was held privately with close family members and has already concluded, in accordance with his and our family’s wishes.
We respectfully decline condolences in the form of monetary offerings, flowers, or messages.
We kindly ask that visits and direct contact with the family be refrained from.
We sincerely thank all members for their warm support and kindness, which made his lifelong work possible.
As his daughter and as an Honorary Advisor, I sincerely hope that each member will carry forward his philosophy and continue to contribute to the future development of YNSA.
Honorary Advisor of the YNSA Society
