【ニューデリー CIIヘルスケアサミットのご案内（締切：10/15）】

MEJは、インド工業連盟 Confederation of Indian Industry主催の「22nd Annual Health Summit」（2025年11月11日火曜日／インド・ニューデリー、テーマ：IMPROVING LIFESPAN WITH HEALTHSPAN）会期中に、第2回 「ME-Indiaセミナー」 を開催します。日本とインドの医療連携を、実務ベースで一気に加速させる場です。

「インド市場を本気で開拓したい」
「現地キープレイヤーと直接つながりたい」
「政策関係者・大手病院・医療企業と、1日で関係構築したい」

とお考えの医療機器メーカー、病院、健康保険、デジタルヘルス、スタートアップ、診断チェーンの皆さまが対象。MEJとCIIがサミット内の展示、広域なビジネスマッチング、会期後のデリー近郊視察（希望制）を通して支援します。

MEJ企業メンバー Spotlight #2：オリンパス株式会社

MEJは、40社を超える企業会員の皆さまと共に日本の医療の国際展開に取り組めることに大いなるやりがいを感じています。今回は、グローバル・メドテックカンパニーであるオリンパス株式会社をご紹介。

本年、創立106周年を迎えたオリンパス。1950年に世界初の実用的な胃カメラを開発し、医師との二人三脚で内視鏡技術の改良を進め、診断や治療の進歩に貢献してきました。

今日、同社は世界40か国で約3万人を擁する企業へと成長し、消化器内視鏡では世界シェア約70%を誇っています。診断から治療・手術まで幅広い領域を支える技術やデバイスを提供。医師や患者の声を反映した製品開発やトレーニング、学術交流を世界各地で展開しています。

現在MEJと連携し、ベトナムでも活動を推進。Olympus Vietnamゼネラルダイレクター児玉壮生氏は次のように語ります。「MEJの産官学医プラットフォームにより、個社で取り組める限界を超え、日本の医療産業が“チーム・ジャパン”として世界の医療環境向上に貢献できることを期待しています。」

MEJ Corporate Member Spotlight #2: Olympus Corporation

At MEJ, we take great pride in working with more than 40 corporate members to advance Japan’s contribution to global healthcare. This time, we are pleased to feature Olympus Corporation, a global leader in medical technology.

Celebrating its 106th anniversary this year, Olympus developed the world’s first practical gastrocamera in 1950. Since then, the company has advanced endoscopic technology in close collaboration with physicians, enhancing both diagnostic and therapeutic practices.

Today, Olympus has grown into a company of approximately 30,000 employees across 40 countries, commanding roughly 70% of the global market share in gastrointestinal endoscopes. The company provides technologies and devices that support a wide range of fields from diagnosis to treatment and surgery while also driving product development, training, and academic exchange that reflect the voices of physicians and patients worldwide.

Currently, in collaboration with MEJ, Olympus is also expanding its activities in Vietnam. Mr. Masao Kodama, General Director of Olympus Vietnam, shared his outlook: “Through MEJ’s public-private-academic-medical platform, we can go beyond the limits of what a single company can achieve. MEJ企業メンバー Spotlight！

MEJは、企業会員の皆さまと共に日本の医療の国際展開に取り組めることを、大変うれしく、そして誇りに思っています。

今回ご紹介するのは、愛知県蒲郡市に本社を置く、株式会社ジャパン・ティッシュエンジニアリング（J-TEC社）。

J-TEC社は、1999年創業の日本における組織工学・再生医療分野のパイオニアとして、その先進的な治療を世界の患者さんの標準的選択肢とすることを目指しています。これまでに3,500名以上の患者さんに再生医療等製品を提供し、開発力・生産品質・供給体制を強化することで、皮膚・軟骨・角膜領域で確固たるポジションを築いてきました。

【MEJよりお知らせ】厚生労働省「医療×観光」モデル実証事業の公募が始まりました！

Medical Excellence JAPAN（MEJ）は、厚生労働省が実施する「地域の医療・観光資源を活用した外国人受入れ推進のための調査・実証事業」について、同省の委託事業者であるフロンティア･マネジメント社の広報活動に協力しています。

このたび、「健診・先進医療・ウェルネスと観光コンテンツを組み合わせた訪日外国人受入れモデル構築」に向けた公募が開始されました。

本事業では、厚生労働省が観光庁と連携し、先進的なモデル構築に取り組む地域を募集しています。採択された地域には、フロンティア･マネジメント社が伴走支援を行います。

地域団体・自治体・観光関係者・医療関係者の皆さま、ぜひご応募をご検討ください。
