【スカラシップ報告：PCDCサマーインテンシブ】
KIDC 2025にてニューヨークのPCDCサマーインテンシブのスカラシップを獲得した五代果凜さん（ダンスワークこかチ）さんより参加レポートを頂きました！

8/13〜8/23の10日間、ニューヨークのPCDCサマーインテンシブに参加してきました！
世界各国から約40名のダンサーが集まり（日本人は私を含めて2名！）、バレエやコンテンポラリーのレッスン、そして最終日の舞台発表に向けたクリエーションに取り組みました。毎日朝9時から夕方まで、ペリダンスセンターでダンス漬けの充実した日々。
当たり前ですが、すべて英語でのコミュニケーション。不安もありましたが、周りの仲間がやさしく声をかけてくれたり、日本人の子が助けてくれたりと、本当に温かさに支えられました。レッスン後にはご飯やカフェに行ったり、ブロードウェイやNYの街並みも楽しめて、国を超えた出会いが素敵な思い出になりました。
クリエーションは2チーム×2作品に分かれ、私はMike先生とColin先生の作品に参加しました。初日には作品テーマやスタイルをレクチャーいただき、自分で振付を考えてクラスで発表。その後は先生方の振付をいただいたり、自分の振付をブラッシュアップして作品に取り入れていただいたりと、多角的に創作に関わることができました。とても実践的な過程を学べただけでなく、素晴らしいダンサーたちの表現や身体の使い方からも大きな刺激を受け、学びの多い時間となりました。
このような機会をKIDCを通していただけたこと、とても嬉しく、そして光栄に思います！

[Scholarship Report: PCDC Summer Intensive]
We received a participation report from Ms. Karin Godai (Dance Work KOKACHI) who won a scholarship to the PCDC Summer Intensive in New York at KIDC 2025!

[Report]
I participated in the PCDC Summer Intensive in New York for 10 days from Aug. 13 to Aug. 23!
About 40 dancers from all over the world gathered (only 2 Japanese including myself!). We had ballet and contemporary lessons, and worked on our creations for the stage presentation on the last day of the program. Every day from 9:00 a.m. to evening, we spent fulfilling days immersed in dance at the Peri Dance Center.
Of course, all communication was in English. I was anxious, but I was really supported by the warmth of my friends around me, who kindly approached me and the Japanese participant helped me. After the lessons, we went out for dinner or to a cafe, enjoyed Broadway and the streets of New York, and the cross-country encounters became wonderful memories for me.
Creation was divided into 2 teams x 2 works, and I participated in Mike and Colin's work. On the first day, we were given a lecture on the theme and style of the piece, and then we came up with our own choreography and presented it to the class. After that, I was able to be involved in the creative process from various perspectives, including receiving choreographies from the teachers and brushing up my own choreographies and incorporating them into the piece. It was a great learning experience, not only because I was able to learn a very practical process, but also because I was greatly inspired by the expressions and body language of these wonderful dancers.
I am very happy and honored to have had this opportunity through KIDC!
