Hello!

I’m Igarashi from Life Force Chiropractic.

Finally, the national acupuncture and moxibustion exam is over, and I’m taking a breather!

Now all that’s left is to wait for the results announcement next month.

This blog features chiropractic poses with the director and staff member Tomochan!

This time, I’ll be writing about temporomandibular joint disorder.

Temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) refers to dysfunction of the jaw joint and surrounding muscles. Common causes include poor posture, especially forward head posture, excessive jaw clenching or teeth grinding (bruxism), stress-related muscle tension, trauma to the jaw or neck, and imbalance of the cervical spine. These factors can place abnormal stress on the temporomandibular joint, leading to pain, clicking sounds, limited mouth opening, headaches, and neck or shoulder discomfort.

Chiropractic care aims to improve TMD by addressing biomechanical dysfunctions of the jaw, cervical spine, and posture. Gentle adjustments to the cervical spine and temporomandibular joint can help restore proper alignment and joint mobility. Soft tissue techniques may reduce muscle tension in the jaw, neck, and shoulders, improving blood flow and reducing pain. Additionally, chiropractors often provide posture correction, ergonomic advice, and exercises to reduce strain on the jaw. By treating the underlying musculoskeletal imbalances, chiropractic care may help relieve symptoms, improve jaw function, and prevent recurrence of TMD.

数十年〜100年の出会いがLFCで観られました！！

皆さんこんにちは、LFC代表の川満です！今日ブログを書いている日は2月15日日曜日ですが、朝から久しぶりに暖かく半袖だけで出勤して来ました。

世間ではプロ野球のキャンプ真っ只中で野球選手のユニフォームを着た観光客も多く観られますが、いかがお過ごしですか？

今日のブログの内容は数十年〜100年に一度にしか観られない事が当店の宜野湾店で起こった内容です。

皆さんは、「アガベ」という多肉植物をご存知でしょうか？別名「センチュリープラント」（世紀の植物）とも言うそうですが、その何十年〜100年に１回しか花を咲かさない宜野湾店のアガベが花を咲かせました。

このアガベの原産国を調べるとメキシコや、アメリカ南西部、南アメリカなどに300種類ぐらいありお酒の「テキーラ」の原料にもなるそうです。

アガベの花言葉は、「気高い貴婦人」と「繊細」だそうですが長い年月をかけて成長する所に由来があるそうです。まさに、うちの奥さんの事の様です。笑笑！！

また、滅多に花を咲かさない事から花を見ると「幸福のサイン」とも言われています。

そして一生に1度しか花を咲かせない事から、世代交代の象徴だとも言われています。LFCも世代交代の時期が来ているかもしれません。自分もいつかは他の人に店舗を引き継いでもらいたいと思っていたので、ちょうど良い時期かと考えました。

Hello everyone, this is Dr. Kawamitsu, the LFC representative! I’m writing this blog today on Sunday, February 15th, and it’s been warm since I last came to work this morning, wearing only short sleeves.

We’re in the middle of professional baseball training camps in Okinawa, and there are many tourists wearing baseball uniforms. How are you all doing?

Today’s blog is about an event that only happens once every few decades to a century, which happened at our Ginowan clinic.

Have you heard of the succulent plant called “agave”? It’s also known as the “century plant,” and the agave at our Ginowan clinic, which only blooms once every few decades to a century, has finally bloomed.

When I looked into the country of origin of this agave, I found that there are around 300 species, found in Mexico, the southwestern United States, and South America, and it is also used to make tequila.

The flower language of agave is said to be “noble lady” and “delicate,” which apparently comes from the fact that it takes so long to grow. That’s exactly what happened to my wife. LOL!!

Also, because they rarely bloom, seeing their flowers is said to be a sign of happiness.

And because they only bloom once in a lifetime, they’re also said to be a symbol of generational change. It may be time for a generational change at LFC as well. I’ve always wanted someone else to take over the clinic, so I thought this would be a good time.

Today I’d like to write about the effects of chiropractic care for infants and young children.

Chiropractic care for infants and young children is designed to support healthy development by gently optimizing the function of the spine, joints, and nervous system. Pediatric chiropractic techniques are very soft and precise, using minimal pressure appropriate for a child’s age and physical condition.

During childbirth and early growth, an infant’s body may experience physical stress from delivery, posture, or rapid developmental changes. These stresses can sometimes influence movement patterns, posture, or nervous system balance. Chiropractic care aims to reduce such stress by improving joint mobility and supporting proper spinal alignment.

Parents often seek chiropractic care for concerns such as difficulty feeding, excessive crying, sleep problems, uneven posture, or delayed motor development. By enhancing communication between the nervous system and the body, chiropractic care may help improve comfort, relaxation, and overall well-being.

皆さん、こんにちはLFC代表のカワミツ です。最近はすっかり寒くなり冬本番の感覚ですが、いかがお過ごしでしょうか？

今日はブログの内容は韓国人のカイロプラクターにお越し頂いた内容です。

キムさんはカイロプラクティックのお仕事を約35年ほど続けているといいます。韓国では日本と同様にカイロプラクティックが法制化されておらず保険がききません。そういう訳で私と同じ環境で仕事をしているという事で、同じ悩みに同情する事が出来ました。

施術時には彼の息子さんが英語で通訳をしてくれましたが、流暢な英語でしたので韓国の英語教育のレベルの高さを感じました。その施術の中でどこが痛いか、どこが気になるか等聞いているうちに「あなたの身体の分析の仕方は素晴らしいね！」とコメントしてくれましたが、その事を私に伝えた後に彼自身もカイロプラクターだと打ち明けてくれました。

彼は時々セミナーを開催したり、既にカイロプラクティックを学ぶ生徒を抱えていると言っていました。

帰り際に彼の名刺をもらいましたが、もし自分が韓国を訪れた際には彼のクリニックを訪問する事を約束して見送りました。韓日の両国に1日も早くカイロプラクティックに保険が適応し、もっともっと多くの方々に普及する事を願うばかりです。

Hello everyone, this is Dr. Kawamitsu, the representative of LFC. It’s been really cold lately, and it feels like winter is in full swing. How are you all doing?

Today’s blog is about a visit from a Korean chiropractor.

Kim-san has been working as a chiropractor for about 35 years. Like in Japan, chiropractic is not legalized in Korea, and is not covered by insurance. So, working in the same environment as me, he was able to sympathize with my concerns.

During the treatment, his son translated in English, and his fluent English really highlighted the high level of English education in Korea. While asking me about pain and concerns during the treatment, he commented, “Your way of analyzing the body is amazing!” After telling me this, he confessed that he was also a chiropractor.

He told me that he occasionally would hold seminars and already had students studying chiropractic.

I received his business card on my way out, and promised to visit his clinic if I ever visit Korea. I hope that chiropractic will be covered by insurance in both Korea and Japan as soon as possible, and that it will become more widely available.

On a personal note, I have my national acupuncture exam coming up in February, so I’m skipping New Year’s celebrations to study intensely. With only two months left of my three-year student life, I plan to enjoy every moment!

Chiropractic treatment for rotator cuff pain focuses on reducing pain and restoring normal shoulder function by addressing joint and muscle imbalances. Chiropractors assess the shoulder joint, cervical and thoracic spine, scapular motion, and posture, as dysfunction in these areas can increase stress on the rotator cuff tendons.

Treatment may include joint adjustments or mobilization of the shoulder and spine to improve mobility and alignment. Soft tissue therapies such as myofascial release and trigger point therapy are used to reduce muscle tension and improve circulation around the injured tissues. Rehabilitation exercises are prescribed to strengthen the rotator cuff and scapular stabilizing muscles, improving shoulder stability and movement control. Postural correction and activity modification are also emphasized to reduce impingement and prevent recurrence. Through a comprehensive approach, chiropractic care supports pain relief and functional recovery.

皆さんこんにちは！アルバイトの酒井です！

年末といえば大掃除の季節ですね。
普段あまり動かさない場所を掃除したり、重い物を持ち上げたりと、思っている以上に体には負担がかかります。

「掃除をしただけなのに腰が重い」「首や肩がパンパン」「翌日になって疲れが抜けない」
そんな感覚が出やすいのも、この時期ならではです。

大掃除による疲れは、筋肉の張りだけでなく、体のバランスの崩れが原因になっていることも少なくありません。
