Pug Cafe & Dog Salon Wan Our Pug Cafe is a place for any dog lovers to enjoy fun time with adorable pugs. We have no parking for pug cafe.

We rescue dogs to find them forever homes and next to the Pug Cafe, we have a small selection of items for sale and the revenue will be spent exclusively on rescued dogs. Please use the Mitsui-no-Ripark (Teruya 1-chome) parking lot near the Koza Crossroads. It is about 200 meters away from our Pug Cafe (three minutes walk). Please show your parking ticket at the register of Pug Cafe upon payment, we will validate parking for first one hour (200 yen).

Here is the information regarding the New Year's holiday schedule for

January 1st, 2026 (New Year's Day): CLOSED for the pugs' winter break.
Regular Holidays: Wednesdays and Fridays.
Business Hours: 13:00 – 18:00 (Last entry at 17:00).
Reservations: Not accepted. Guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Business Days: Open daily (Year-round).
Availability: Reservations for the New Year period are almost fully booked. However, bookings for January 4th onwards are currently being accepted.

To everyone who joined the Shiga Pugs Meetup,
Thank you so much for your donations to Okinawa's rescue pugs again.😭✨

We received ¥36,500 in donations collected through Shiwa-san!

There are still so many pugs waiting to be rescued.
We plan to welcome another one next month, so these funds will cover the pup's medical expenses🙇‍♀️

We will continue striving to make many pugs happy as possible.

Soki had a spay surgery and Ushimaru had sterilization yesterday. Both of them also had scaling and tooth extraction.

Their surgeries were success without incident✨✨.

I'm relieved that they have good appetites and a full of energy after the surgery 😊.

Stitches will be removed in a week 🐶🐶.

We rescued Soki the pug from the local shelter and brought him 🐶.

Thanks to all of you, he is getting better and better. ☺️
Soki was scared when we touched him, but now he wags his tail and smiles when we touch him. ☺️

Thank you all for your donations 🙇‍♀️; Diapers, food, sheets, supplements, beds, clothes, etc....We will take good care of Soki. 🙇‍♀️

Here is a report on his health checkup. The second opinion has been completed.

His both eyes are blind😭 yet won't disrupt his daily life☺️ Soki is getting used to people and other dogs ☺️

He is a little anemic but blood work is fine👌.
Heart is a little enlarged but no reflux👌
Filaria negative👌

We had planned not to have him neutered due to his advanced age, however? we decided it would be better to have his scaled due to bleeding and swelling in his mouth caused by an alveolar pyorrhoea.

We will do the scaling next Monday, 6/23 and also to castrate him while anesthetizing him! He has been taking iron supplements for his anemia, and it works. It made him a full of energy.

We will keep you posted with more updates in our story 😊.

Yesterday we rescued an old pug who had been abandoned in the shelter for some reason with wanspartner 😭✨

The vet estimated that he may be 18 years old. He’s almost blind and weighs 5.1 kg. Skinny and scrawny 😢.

I will do my best to take care of him and to be able to debut . I named him Soki.

Thank you all for your support & encouragement 😭✨

Jin-kun's (formerly Genghis Khan) mom has become a supporter and will be helping us with medical expenses 😭✨.

We need diapers for rescued pugs. If you have any extra diapers that you don't need now that your child is toddling, please kindly donate for rescued pugs. We are using human baby diapers to prevent steaming & leaking.

.shimozato I came to Bar & Grill Marvell to eat a ‘Pi Ton burger 🍔’. Students from Kyuyo High School collaborated with HARVEST the local hamburger shop won the the ‘BU-1 Gourmet Grand Prix Competition’ with this ‘Tropical Pi Ton Burger 🍔 ’ held at Uruma Marche in Maehara on September 28.
