一世紀以上の歴史にいろどられた風光明媚な天然温泉「小湯温泉」

その歴史は明治16年頃、熊本からの入植者により、桂の木の下から湧出している温泉が発見されたことに始まります。
明治26年に湯元小金湯の前身となる湯元なかや温泉旅館を開業。湯元小金湯の館内には「湯元なかや」時代に使用していた看板が展示されており、当時を偲ぶことができます。

開業から120年以上が経つ現在も、日帰り入浴・貸切風呂・日帰り宴会・ご宿泊と、皆さまに愛される温泉宿泊施設として親しまれております。
