Amin and Hiromi attended the ASMB Biannual meeting in Baltimore from November 15 to 19. Amin received an on-site poster travel award, and Hiromi gave a talk in the Matrix-in-Medicine symposium.

Nao participated in a short-term exchange program at the University of Edinburgh and presented her project.
Hiromi attended the "Myo Life" 40/70 reunion symposium at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, celebrating Dr. Eric Olson's 40 years of research excellence in muscle biology and his 70th birthday.

This weekend, Ken and Hiromi attended the Matricell Forum at iPark Shonan. Ken gave a special lecture and Taketomi kun in Tsuruta lab presented his research on SPARKL1. It was a good opportunity to talk to researchers from various companies about academia to business collaborations. There was also a research presentation by high school students on cell adhesion and matrix protein, which was very nicely done!

今週末は湘南iPark にてマトリセルフォーラムがありました。企業の方を交えて、産官学のイノベーションについて話す機会があり有意義でした。木村さんが特別講演を、鶴田研の武富くんが一般演題発表をしました。また高校生による細胞接着と細胞外マトリックスの研究発表がありました。
