A Blood Donation Drive organised at Bungoma Bus Station by Khayrat Muslim Women Group showcasing the CBO’s spirit of compassion beyond religion.

Khayrat Muslim Women voluntarily stepped forward for this noble cause, reaffirming that service to community also means service to humanity.

This initiative reflects the true Spirit of Elgon View's community-hood, guided by empathy and strengthened through kindness and service.

Elgon View Hospital extends heartfelt gratitude to the heroes who rolled up their sleeves for the impactful blood donation drive at Bungoma Bus Station today, 19th December 2025.

Organized by Khayrat Muslim Women Group, the event themed "𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗮 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝘂, 𝗢𝗸𝗼𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗺𝗮 𝗡𝗮 𝗠𝘁𝗼𝘁𝗼" was a resounding success.

This life saving event comes at a time when up to 6,000 women die during childbirth annually in Kenya, due to lack of blood.

Additionally, Bungoma County Referral Hospital and Private facilities attend to frequent road accidents, sicklers, anemic and malaria cases needing urgent transfusions.

The successful event organized by The Khayrat Muslim Women Group in collaboration with Bungoma Blood Transfusions Satellite, Elgon View Hospital, The Kenya Red Cross, Bungoma Children's Hospital, Bungoma West Nduthi Culture among other stakeholders, has been dedicated to support the county in addressing insufficient blood to address maternal health, and looks forward to a sustainable collective annual harvests that will ensure regular blood drives to save lives

We're offering FREE HPV vaccination to girls aged 10 years, protecting them against certain cancers caused by human papillomavirus (HPV) infection, including cervical cancer.

The energy was electric as they treated the crowd to unforgettable renditions of Siriri and Luengele, leaving everyone in high spirits.

We are proud to have participated in the 2025 Ng'arisha Sacco Annual Member Education Day, a 7-day final event held at Sirisia Stadium in Sirisia, Bungoma County.

Ng'arisha Sacco, which boasts an impressive membership of over 40,000 was a resounding success. The members, mainly teachers, were treated to a wealth of knowledge and information on various topics relevant to their financial well-being, at a time when teachers accross the country are expected to migrate from Minet Medical Cover to SHA (Mwalimu Comprehensive Cover) as from 1st Dec 2025.
