Our Hamptons hospital team today joined Awori Foundation for the free medical camp held at the Holy family Nangina mission hospital in Funyula, Busia County.

More than 500 patients were diagnosed and treated for various medical conditions for free by teams of Doctors from Hamptons hospital, Canada, USA and Kenya.

The event was graced by former Vice President Moody Awori who congratulated Hamptons hospital team for the great partnership with Awori foundation in the provision of free medical services to the community.

The free medical camp started today and will last for 3 days until Thursday August 14th, 2025. Thousands of patients are expected to receive free treatment during the exercise.

Hamptons hospital is based at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC) in Butere sub county of Kakamega County. It treats Kenyans and medical tourists. Kenyans with SHA are treated without paying extra co-payment charges.

Social Health Authority (SHA) registration campaign has entered the 11th month and in high gear at Hamptons hospital at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC).

More than 76,000 families have so far registered for treatment and will join other residents that are eligible for Hamptons hospital premium program for low income family households.

Hamptons hospital treats Kenyans and medical tourists. Kenyan citizens with SHA card are treated without paying extra co-payment charges.

It has been a busy month at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC) as delegations visit for interviews, benchmarking and many register for Social Health Authority (SHA) for services at Hamptons hospital.

The visits come after MMTC hosted a successful second MMTC 10 KM free Health walk on March 29th, 2025, where Hamptons hospital officially launched recruitment for healthcare workers for its new locations in Suriname , South America.

Up to 500 jobs are open for qualified healthcare professionals in South America for the next 24 months.
Our first group will depart in May on a 24 month rotation.

Our second annual Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC) 10 KM Health Walk was successfully held today at MMTC in Butere Sub County of Kakamega County in Kenya.

The health walk and the free medical camp were sponsored by Hamptons hospital and attracted scores of participants and sponsors from Kenya and abroad.

Hamptons hospital held a free medical camp which treated residents for free, and registered many others under social health authority (SHA) insurance.

Speaking during the ceremony held after the event, former Kenyan ambassador to US Elkanah Odembo encouraged Kenyans to stay healthy by keeping active. A total of 36 other corporate and individual sponsors including 18 from United States of America paid for SHA annual premiums for 349 families, who will have access to free treatment at Hamptons hospital.

MMTC founder Julius Mwale said that the annual MMTC health walk is part of four annual events held quartely at MMTC to help pay for SHA premiums for lower income families, hence guaranteeing universal
healthcare . He added that Residents with SHA card are treated at Hamptons hospital without paying for extra co-payment charges.

Other annual events at MMTC include the cross country trail race on June 28th, 2025 , annual business conference in September and MMTC Marathon in December.

Our team covered career development,peer Influence, drug and substance abuse , self esteem, sexually transmitted infections, teenage pregnancies, menstrual and personal hygiene.

We thank the Medical professionals and graduate medical students from Kenya medical training college (KMTC Nairobi)and medical schools for benchmark visit this busy week at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC).

Hamptons hospital will open its medical school as soon as SHA transition process completes by end of next month. The School will train healthcare professionals to be based at Hamptons hospital at Mwale Medical and Technology City (MMTC) in Kenya and to staff Hamptons hospitals in South America.

Our first batch of specialists are traveling to South America this month on a two year contract at new Hamptons hospital managed facilities. The teams will be led by Dr. Maurice Siminyu of Hamptons hospital as the team leader and later joined by Dr. Cowart the South America's Hamptons hospital consultant administrator. Upto 500 healthcare professionals are required to staff Hamptons hospitals in the Americas in the next 24 months. The medical school is expected to certify many of these healthcare workers. Interested specialists, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals can submit their CVs to jobs@hamptonshospital.com.
