Seen. For over six years, there was no meaningful lobbying and no visible development to speak of. Roads were not tarmacked, and projects remained promises on paper.

Suddenly, after Prof. Kithure Kindiki took office as Deputy President, development is happening at an unprecedented pace. Roads are being tarmacked and projects are finally being delivered.

Now, the very people who slept on the job want residents believe they are the ones lobbying. That lie is insulting to the intelligence of the public.

This is nothing but a crude deception,like tying a placenta to a bull and asking people to believe it has given birth. Residents can see the truth with their own eyes: it is Kindiki who is delivering development.

Newly appointed Judge of the Court of Appeal Justice Brown Murungi Kairaria was born in Maroreria village in Marimanti.
Kairaria attended Gatunga primary before, then Meru School form 1 to form 4 and proceeded to Alliance Boys High School for his A levels. He was among the last lot to sit for A level.
He earned his degree at The University of Nairobi, and is a Masters of Laws holder from the University of Liverpool. Justice Justice Kairaria has served as chair of Kenya Industrial tribunal and is a partner in Gitonga Kamiti and Kairaria company advocates.

An accident was reported this afternoon at Mukuuni Village in Tharaka Nithi County, where a man was injured while excavating a rock to make ballast. According to witnesses, the rock suddenly shifted and fell on him during the activity.

The victim was rescued by a backhoe operator, after which a rescue team rushed him to hospital in an ambulance. His condition was not immediately established.
