Crazy World!!! Man fined Ksh 10,000 for having an affair with a married woman.
A man in Embu was once fined ksh 10,000 for having an intimate affair with a married woman. Elders from Musingini village charged the young man after he reportedly sneaked into a married woman’s house for a steamy session. It was reported that a nosy neighbor saw the man get into the house deep in the night and alerted other neighbours who smoked him out. He confessed to having an illicit affair with the woman, a mother of three. The elders gave the judgement where the money was divided between them and the owner of the adulterous woman.
Out of the total, Sh5,000 was handed to the aggrieved husband, while the rest was shared among the 10 elders.
Throughout the proceedings, the woman denied having an affair with the man.
According to one of the elders who participated in the meeting, the woman claimed that the man was just passing by and was exchanging greetings when the suspicious neighbours came calling.
Incidentally, the woman’s husband divorced his first wife who had also cheated on him.
