Yesterday, our team from Village of Hope Hospital was joined by the Nandi County – Mosop Subcounty Health team for another round of Care Beyond Hospital Walls at Kaptich Dispensary. This time, it was all about Breast and Cervical Cancer Awareness. More than 200 people showed up—some curious, some a little nervous, but all of them ready to learn and look after their health. We got to offer a bit of everything: general checkups, blood sugar and pressure tests, dental and eye care, medicine, and Hypertensive services. We also spent time on health education—because sometimes, a little knowledge goes a long way.
Seeing people ask questions, smile, or just show up for themselves is exactly why we keep doing this. It’s about bringing healthcare right to the heart of the community.
Big thanks to everyone—who joined hands with us to make this outreach a success. Your support lets us bring hope and care to more people, one place at a time.

People Centered Healthcare—Not limited by hospital walls
As we approached the end of Customer Service Week, our healthcare team conducted an outreach camp at Silungai Dispensary in Manda Shivanga Ward, Kakamega County. It was an amazing experience, we served over 390 people. From the elderly receiving necessary checkups to moms, kids, and neighbors accessing basic healthcare—every assessment, every relieved smile, and every "I feel better" moment was a great reminder of why holding on to Hope Matters.
Shout out to the healthcare providers, community health promoters, and Kakamega County for pulling together. Lives changed, hope sparked, health boosted.
We're keeping at it—slowly, steadily building healthier communities. One camp at a time, indeed Together we can make a difference.

On Mazingira Day 2025, we join other Kenyans to honor the value of the environment. Village of Hope Hospital sees a clean environment as the base of healthy community. The air we all breathe, water we take and the food we eat all hinge on how people treat the land, water and air around them.

As we show up for our communities each day, doing everything medical in between with a heart, grace, and a bit of stubborn excellence. Your health comes first, once you walk through our doors, your health shoots straight to the top of our list.
