Q1 is the start of a new year, so like Monday, it's expected for individuals and companies to start working towards their goals.

For teams, this January looked like:
- Board and Executive strategy meetings
- Leadership training and team building
- Budget setting and approvals
- Performance reviews

This also means that companies are asking their people to do more — faster, better, with less margin for error, making the season slightly overwhelming.

There’s a quote that feels especially relevant right now:

No strategy survives if the people expected to execute it are running on empty.

“My wife is packing her bags and wants to leave. She got wind of my affair and I have no idea what to do or say to get her to stay.” He said almost sobbing.
