Do you ever pay attention while you eat?
That’s the question I asked myself when I participated in the workshop on feeding and positioning for the cerebral palsy children.
We all know that they have muscle issues from the outside but what we do not know is that it is also the same inside and so they definitely have problems feeding and therefore need special feeding techniques.
Now try swallowing with your mouth open!
How did that go?
Well most of these children can not close there mouth and so the need to help them close their mouths while feeding.
