AMR Now is a youth-led initiative bringing together multidisciplinary professionals and individuals to tackle the antimicrobial resistance threat to modern medicine from a one health perspective. Our Mission
To contribute towards elimination of indiscriminate antimicrobial
consumption through collaborative efforts of community members,
healthcare professionals and other academic fields, in combatting
antimicrobial resistance. Our Vision

each member takes personal and collective responsibility

We successfully held our 3rd Annual Kisii County World AMR Awareness Week (WAAW) Cycling event. 40 dedicated youths cycled 39km to advocate for Antimicrobial Stewardship.

The event was flagged off at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH) by Dr. Hellen Okumu, Pharmacist & CASIC Member. Our route through Kisii County; KTRH-Egesa - Nyatieko - Nyabonge - Mbanda - Marani Town - Ititi - Nyakoe Market - Daraja Mbili Market - Kisii University, demonstrated vital community engagement in this critical public health issue.

Key Message: Take ONLY if and as Prescribed!
