In collaboration with the East Africa Comprehensive Women’s Cancer Project (EACwCP), the day featured impactful sessions on mental health, nutritional support, caregiver empowerment, the importance of regular screening, and inspiring survivor testimonials.

What a powerful display of unity and commitment in Kilifi town!
A super collaboration between East Africa Comprehensive Women’s Cancer Project (EACwCP), The Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa and the Kilifi County Department of Health, commemorated the recently concluded Breast Cancer Awareness Month with an awareness walk under the theme “Beyond Awareness: Personal Action for Breast Health.”
Our focus was on promoting early detection and preventive action against both breast and cervical cancer. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined our vibrant procession from Charo Wa Mae Sokoni to Kiwandani!
Together, we’re taking meaningful steps toward a healthier community; because early detection saves lives.

Today, our halls at The Aga Khan Hospital, Mombasa , were filled with solidarity and hope as we marked Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 💖 We pinned pink ribbons on all staff and visitors to remind our community that early detection is key.
In partnership with the East Africa Comprehensive Women Cancer Project (EACwCP), we hosted an empowering webinar on breast cancer and provided valuable screenings and diagnostic offers. Together, we're making strides in the fight against cancer.
