Self-care isn’t a luxury; it’s an essential part of the healing process. Trauma can leave us feeling disconnected from our needs, so it’s important to make time for activities that nurture our well-being.
Self-care is the greatest form of reconnecting to our true self.
Whether it’s journaling, spending time in nature, meditating, or simply allowing yourself to rest, find what fills your cup and do it regularly. Remember, taking care of yourself isn’t selfish; it’s an act of self-love and resilience.
Learning to express your deepest needs and have them met is one of the best self-care practices 🌺. Don't just cater for others, cater for your own needs and ask others to cater for your needs as well.

One of the most important aspects of trauma healing is having a support system that you can rely on. Healthy supportive relationships is the antidote to trauma. So whether it’s a family member, a close friend, a support group, or a therapist, having people who listen without judgment and offer encouragement makes a huge difference. It’s okay to lean on others when you need to; you don’t have to carry the weight of your trauma alone. Trauma healing also requires that you mend the relationship you have with yourself. Its time to reintegrate and bring the orphaned parts of you homešŸ«‚. If you’re in need of support, remember that there are people who care and are ready to walk with you on your journey.
