Supported by Light of Grace Ministries from Pennsylvania, USA, Ankodi led a multifaceted delegation of community health experts, psychologists, communicators, peer educators, and professionals from diverse fields to implement a Student Mentorship and Mental Well-Being Programme under the Menstrupower Campaign.
From the warm reception by the Principal of Nyamogo Girls Secondary School, Madam Rose Edna Atieno, to the vibrant participation of her students, Tulizo Club officially came to life in Homabay County. It was another bright day to remind the girls that they are worth it. The Principal even extended an invitation to Ratanga Girls Secondary School, whose students gladly joined the campaign.
The girls explored the vital connection between mental health and menstrual hygiene. With Tulizo Club now launched, we can’t wait to kick off its robust activities in the school.
