Not every connection is love and not every feeling is healthy. Sometimes what feels intense and irresistible can actually be confusion, attachment wounds, or emotional dependency disguised as love. Understanding the difference is key to protecting your heart and your mental well-being.

Join us as we unpack the thin lines between love, lust, and trauma bonding; how to recognize each, break unhealthy cycles, and build relationships rooted in clarity, respect, and genuine connection. Because the right love won’t leave you confused, drained, or questioning your worth.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness πŸ—£οΈπŸ€

Sometimes we love people who don’t choose us because of past wounds, unmet needs, or the desire to feel valued. This week, we learned that real love does not require chasing or proving your worth.

Choose yourself, know your value, and allow space for mutual, healthy love 🀍

Sometimes, we find ourselves holding on to people who don’t fully show up for us; loving deeply, hoping they’ll change, or waiting to be chosen. This pattern can be confusing and painful, leaving us questioning our worth and emotional decisions.

Tonight, we unpack the psychology behind this experience; from attachment styles and past wounds to emotional dependency and self-worth. We explore how to break unhealthy patterns, set boundaries, and begin choosing ourselves. Because love should be mutual, intentional, and fulfilling not one-sided.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness πŸ—£οΈπŸ€

Our inner child holds our earliest emotions and experiences, and sometimes our reactions today are rooted in wounds from the past. This week, we explored how understanding these patterns helps us respond with awareness instead of reacting from pain.
Healing begins with self-compassion, awareness, and giving yourself the love you may have lacked 🀍

Many of our reactions, triggers, and emotional patterns are rooted in past experiences especially from childhood. The wounds we carry, the love we lacked, or the environments we grew up in often shape how we respond to life, relationships, and even ourselves.
Tonight, we explore the concept of the inner child, understanding how past experiences influence present behavior, and how healing those parts of ourselves can lead to healthier emotions, better relationships, and personal growth. Healing begins when we become aware, compassionate, and intentional about our journey.

Here is what we learned this Tuesday at M-Wellness πŸ—£οΈπŸ€

Self-harm is often misunderstood, yet it is a sign of deep emotional pain, not attention seeking or weakness. This week, we talked about how some people use self-harm as a way to cope with overwhelming feelings like sadness, anger, loneliness, or distress. While it may bring temporary relief, it does not address the root of the pain and can become harmful over time.

We also explored how to recognize the signs and, more importantly, how to respond with empathy, not judgment. Creating safe spaces, listening without criticism, and encouraging professional support can make a huge difference. Healing is possible, and no one deserves to suffer in silence. You are not alone, and your life matters.

Self-harm is often a silent cry for help; a way some people cope with overwhelming emotions, pain, or inner struggles they may not know how to express. Behind it is not attention-seeking, but a need for relief, understanding, and support.

Tonight, we open up this sensitive conversation to create awareness, break stigma, and foster compassion. We explore why self-harm happens, how to recognize the signs, and healthier ways to cope with emotional distress. Most importantly, we emphasize that help is available, healing is possible, and no one has to go through it alone.
